Saturday Salsa!

Gotta love The Cherry Auction! Had a great time...got some great veggies! Tonight...Tostadas with FRESH SALSA! yum...:) Now off to plant fruit trees! Gosh I love Saturdays! :O)

Who's really in charge?

So last night, considering the below freezing temps to come, we made the decision to bed the goats down in the lower pasture barn instead of the upper barn. This decision was made based on the fact that Kyle and I had just cleaned the upper barn and wanted to keep it that way in case of multiple kidding! So...we put a carabene (sp?) clip on the gate which leads to the upper barn, so everyone had to stay below. Well...I woke up this morn at 4:45 (why...I'm not sure) and notcied that the entire Herd and Savannah were gone! So I went to check and someone had chewed off the clip which allowed all goats (and dog) into the upper barn!!!! And then...there it was...the look of guilt and shame...all over Meghan's senior citizen face! Ya gotta keep an eye on the old ones! :O)
