It has been a bust week around here...lots of new additions and some letting go. Ethyl Belle gave birth to a stinkin' cute baby girl on Super Bowl Sunday around 1:30pm. She was a tiny little single, but cute as a bug...her ADGA name is New York Lu...but we lovingly call her Lulu! She is named after her grandmother, Angilou.
Storm (after torturing me over a very long week) finally gave into labor on Friday morning around 7am! She gave birth to two beautiful little boys. These young men are already spoken for and will spend their days on Ellis Acres in Auberry. Storm's birth was a gift to us from The Lord and we recognize it as that. Her struggles over the past 18 months were nothing but preparation for God's Glory!
It is only because of The Lord's hand that both these does brought forth offspring! Thank you Father!

We now wait for Irish Creme to deliver and then have Angie in mid-April. From now until then, we will be working diligently toward preparing for Farm Tours this Spring and our kick-off event in April. On a mixed feeling note, our oldest son and the reason we started goats is moving into his own place this weekend. He is 20 and ready! Mom...well...a day at a time. Not seeing his cowboy boots on the back porch struck my heart strangely, but I know this is what's right. ;)
That is two for me out of the nest...or maybe I should say...Out of the barn! :)
