Hey...if your local check out the Mountain Press. Pat Gallegos did an article about Joy and her trip to the Pre-school! It was so much fun. It is such a joy to be able to educate the community on goats and their wonderful contributions to our world! Joy really spread some JOY! :)

Gettin' ready for Fair!

So it's that time again! Chowchilla Fair. I actually really love Chowchilla Fair as does the rest of my family. It is a great time of showing, camping and spending "down time" with awesome friends. It is definately something we look forward to each and every year. Getting ready though can be a different story. We have weighed the market hogs...Justin Michael is goin' in a bit light. The trailers being cleaned out and re-packed (since it's now Kyle's college pad!) Were finding loving volunteers to care for Joy while were gone. Got all the shopping done...just gotta make Joshua's lemon bread and were good to go. We take the trailer in Sunday morning and then "Little Riblet" & "Big Western" in on Monday. Gary and the boys will stay down Monday night and Peter and I will join the family on Tuesday after school and work. Kyle will stay home and manage the farm and finish up his college finals! What a week! Can't wait! :O)
