Anyway...I left the mountain a bit early so I could stop on the way and grab up a Starbucks (coconut is out for summer) and as I pulled into Temperance Starbucks ( my regular) there were like 6 cars in line?!? I took a moment debating whether or not I could have time...I decided that this particular Starbucks moves pretty fast and I would have more than ample time! Well...........NOT! I am now blocked in by a Mustang in the back and the path is too narrow on the sides for an F250 to turn around...and my watch was ticking faster than it had ever ticked before...I start to panic and ask The Lord to please slow time because I REALLY don't like being late ( I feel it shows disrespect). In our conversation ( God and I) I asked him why is this happening, the line so slow, this is crazy and yet there is this strange peace that it is ok and I will get to MWOG at exactly the perfect time! So...I relaxed, cranked up KDUV and waited on my coffee, which ended up being fantastic! Gotta love coconut! :) Oh...Starbucks was training! :)
I pull into BFRC parking lot at exactly 9:30am (the time which Karen told me to be there) and I hop out of the truck preparing to race inside...when a lady calls out to me (who also had just arrived). "Excuse me", she says, "I am assuming by the large white goat on the back of your truck window that you may have a connection to goats?" Well...we all know what I answered! :) Loooooong story short...this woman has had an interest in learning about goats, home dairying, sustainable living and other fun type stuff and she has been waiting on The Lord to show her the connection she was to make....waiting for quite awhile I understand. I feel honored to be that connection that God placed on her heart. She is a strong woman of God and those are the new friends I need and want! So...I believe that God slowed me down at Starbucks to plan a divine meeting in the parking lot of BFRC! Gotta love that! :)
