A Wild Week!

Things have been pretty crazy around the Farm this past week. We have had several more babies born, had some escapees and have had to make some decisions with what to do with some of our runts and babies who have been struggling.
Angilou kidded her two babes last Monday, having both a boy and a girl! They are extremely healthy and beautiful. The girl looks just like her and the boy looks just like daddy...That Kid Morgan. We got only a few days off before Skye kidded Friday afternoon...she had one huge boy who looks just like her! He was having trouble getting his legs...but I think we finally got it. On top of all this, we have Joy...our bottle baby who made her shining debut this week at The Senior Center and Pre-school. She was of course a hit and she lapped up all the attention. The Mountain Press was even there! Our little wicked piggie brothers have figured out how to get out of their crate now and we frequently find them checking out the backyard on their own, so Ellie gets out of her crate finally either this evening or tomorrow afternoon...she is ready, believe me! We made a decision to pull Mr. P from the litter and take him in with us until he gets a bit bigger. So, Kyle has chosen to take on this challenge! Mr. P is his new love project. He said, "Let me have him Mom, I need something to take care of". And because my hands are kind of full already with Joy...I was thankful for the help! Like I said...it's been crazy around here. Meghan is our last preggo and we are eagerly awaiting her delivery. I just need a couple days off! :)

Agape Creative Studios...Udder Joy!

What a wonderful Easter we had! All our kids were home with us. Ashley and Sergio decided to take some creative shots of the new babies...they are both so talented. Ashley is pure magic behind that camera! Check out some of their creative work here and at their website...www.agapewith.us

Abundant Provision!

When Joshua lost Ivy, his little heart was absolutely broken. We prayed and asked God to please bring us another Ivy. Well, our Jesus being the God he is has answered ten fold. We have been blessed with so many beautiful babies and still have more coming. Last Friday we were blessed again and this little doe looks exactly like Ivy! (go figure...of course it is her grandaughter)! As a matter of fact...by the time we are done with kidding season, we will have a whole farm of Ivy's grandchildren. Allow me to introduce...Luna's blessing...Ivy's sweet Joy! BTW...Luna had a hard labor and was struggling with nursing and acknowledging Joy, so she is being raised by us right now...hopefully only until Skye kidds this week.
